With a PhD from UC Berkeley and experience at Harvard Medical School, Dr. van der Helm has been at the forefront of sleep research and its practical application in high-pressure environments.

Drawing from her own experiences working in corporate consulting and as the founder of a VC-backed tech startup, Dr. van der Helm translates cutting-edge research into actionable strategies for improving sleep and stress management. She has helped hundreds of thousands of professionals reduce stress, increase productivity, and achieve peak performance through better sleep.

Dr. Tony Cunningham

Dr. Tony Cunningham is the Director of the Center for Sleep and Cognition at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and Harvard Medical School. He earned his doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the University of Notre Dame, completed a clinical internship at the VA Eastern Kansas Healthcare System, and is now licensed to practice in Massachusetts.

Tony's research focuses on the role of sleep and sleep loss in emotion and memory processing, aiming to bridge neuroscience and clinical practice. He seeks to understand brain network changes following sleep loss and develop therapeutic interventions. Recently, he received a K23 grant from NIMH and a career development award from the Sleep Research Society Foundation to advance his independent research.
